Festival Special Train: Ajmer-Ranchi Weekly Puja Special Announced for Festive Rush

Railways will run the Ajmer-Ranchi-Ajmer weekly Puja Special from October 2 to November 29 amid the festive rush, offering passengers between Rajasthan and Jharkhand an additional travel option.

The festive season brings a sharp increase in demand for train travel as people working in other states begin preparing to return home. Trains remain one of the easiest and major modes of transport for such journeys, but the surge in passengers during festivals often leads to heavy crowds.

To ease the difficulties faced by passengers, the Railways operates several special trains during the festive period. In this connection, special trains are also being prepared between Jharkhand and Rajasthan to facilitate travel for passengers heading home and returning to their workplaces.

Keeping the festive season and expected passenger rush in view, the Ministry of Railways has decided to operate train numbers 09619/09620 Ajmer-Ranchi-Ajmer weekly Puja Special.

Train number 09619 Ajmer-Ranchi Weekly Puja Special will depart from Ajmer every Friday from October 2 to November 27. The train will depart from Ajmer at 11:05 pm on Friday, followed by Jaipur at 1:35 am, Guna at 9:20 am, Katni at 3:50 pm, Chopan at 11:40 pm, Garhwa Road at 2:20 am, Tori at 4:45 am, Lohardaga at 5:30 am and Piska at 6:57 am. It will arrive at Ranchi at 7:30 am on Sunday.

Meanwhile, train number 09620 Ranchi-Ajmer Weekly Puja Special will depart from Ranchi every Sunday from October 4 to November 29. The train will depart from Ranchi at 10:50 am on Sunday.

Passengers planning to travel on this special train during the festive season have been advised to book their seats as early as possible. The special service is intended to provide greater convenience for passengers travelling between Jharkhand and Rajasthan during the period of increased festival-related demand.
